You Kill Me
David Phillips, “No sign of sexual trauma.“
CSI episode 8: You Kill Me was fun. But it feels kind of like a filler to extend the total episodes of the season. Either way it was a comedic relief from all the seriousness that CSI always show.
The lab rats are playing a game that Hodges call a “thought experiment”. Hodges presents a murder scenario and the lab rats solve the crime. First scenario was Archie documenting evidence from a drug bust. As he was picking up a brick of coke, an explosion blew up in his face. Henry immediately confessed on this one.
Second scenario, Wendy found Henry frozen to death in a freezer. It turned out that he was laced with angel dust. Mandy was the killer.
Third scenario, Mandy was found dead in the evidence room with her throat slit. This case is actually unsolved, there were loop holes in Hodges’ scenario. But I think it’s Hodges because there is a pattern. First killer was Henry so he became the second victim. Henry’s killer was Mandy and she became the third victim. Since the fourth scenario was Hodges being shot in the head, which was quickly solved by Grissom as suicide by the way, then Hodges is Mandy’s killer.
Unbeknownst to them, Hodges had an ulterior motive. He was recording the whole game for his prototype board game called Lab Rat. Meanwhile everyone was comforting Grissom for Sara’s farewell.
Trivia:
Rating:Sara is no longer in the opening credits.
Bobby Dawson keeps becoming the prime suspect on every case as a running gag.
