The Next Great American Flop?
Oh man! I forgot to watch The Next Great American Band last October 19th. I know, I know, it’s a reality show yada yada yada … but my love for music surpasses my loath for reality shows so … bleh 
as my friend, the “Lep”, would say … fudge ya!
Anyway, The Next Great American Band is an American Idol spin-off. Both have the same concepts except the winner will not be a solo artist but instead a band. The similarity between the two shows doesn’t stop there. It is still judged by two men and a woman, John Rzeznik, Sheila E., and Ian Dickson. Dominic Bowden will be the host of the show, a former winner of the New Zealand Idol.
I heard that the premier episode got a poor rating. It placed fifth in the time slot. I have a feeling that this show will be a flop, but I still want to see it for myself though. And I promise I’ll rant and rave here if it is. So, stay tuned.
