Which is worse starving yourself or a visit to a plastic surgeon or some rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills and LA? People just disgust me sometimes. They’re willing to risk their lives just to look what other people want them to look like.
Just saw Grey’s Anatomy episode 4 today. Dr. Callie was right in blaming that guy who let his wife die because of starvation and over training. It’s unprofessional, but sometimes people just need a slap in the face to realize what they’ve done. It had been established that women are susceptible to poor body image, but men doesn’t have to make it worse. Especially those who tell their girlfriends or wives or even friends to lose weight so they could look “hot”. Ugh! This issue just irks me. It reminds me of Baz Luhrmann’s advice; “Don’t read beauty magazines, it’ll only make you feel ugly.”.
Anyway, Derek’s proposal to Meredith was perfect! Here’s a quote:
“I wanna marry you. I wanna have kids with you. I wanna build us a house. I wanna settle down and grow old with you. I wanna dine and live a hundred and ten years old in your arms. I don’t want 48 uninterrupted hours. I want a lifetime.”
McDreamy just officially became MCDREAMY!!! It’s so McPerfect. *sigh* Tell me, who could top that?
