Episode 4.1 “The Beginning of the End” - January 31 (Hurley)

The big season premiere picks up where last season ended, with the castaways debating whether or not the arrival and rescue of Naomi’s people is a good thing. We know John Locke (Terry O’Quinn) and Ben Linus (Michael Emerson) are opposed and Jack (Matthew Fox) is for the help, and those two will become team leaders as everyone else is forced to pick a side. But the star is Hurley (Jorge Garcia), who we will see in flash forwards, meaning the lovable lotto winner is one of the people who gets off the island. Not much is known about Hurley’s future, but expect to see Hurley involved in the wrong end of a car chase with police.

Episode 4.2 “Confirmed Dead” - February 7 (Naomi’s people)

If you’re interested in who the people on Naomi’s freighter were, and why this past summer featured a slew of new casting announcements, tune in to this episode. Four people from the freighter will come to the island, and they’re played by Jeremy Davies, Rebecca Mader, Jeff Fahey and Ken Leung. Are they good or bad? Well, would it be Lost if they were a bunch of nice people who simply wanted to help? You can also expect to see Lance Reddick (The Wire star recently cast in J.J. Abrams’ new seres, Fringe), as well as some familiar faces with Rousseau, Alex and Karl.

Episode 4.3 “The Economist” - February 14 (Sayid)

Expected to be another flash forward, it appears Sayid (Naveen Andrews) is another person who successfully makes it off the island. In the future, he’s making time in Germany with some lady named Elsa. On the island, Locke’s side begins to question Naomi’s people as they wonder how to get more information about them. Jack’s side, meanwhile, will take a trip back to te Others’ happy little village.

Episode 4.4 “Eggtown” - February 21 (Kate)

Wanna know what happened to Kate (Evangeline Lilly) after she got off the island? Well, this episode includes a big murder trial, so you can draw your own conclusions. The flash forwards will also help fill in a lot of missing pieces for the Jaters and the Skaters out there. How is the mystery man Kate had to get back to during her future scene with Jack in the third season finale? And, as the episode title suggests, we’ll learn whether Kate’s womb has a new resident.

Episode 4.5 “The Constant” - February 28 (Desmond)

Few details are out about this episode, but the casting sheet includes quite a few British and military types. Given the knowledge that Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) spent time in the British Army and was subsequently imprisoned, this is very likely going to be a flashback filling in that time.

Episode 4.6 “The Other Woman” - March 6 (Juliet)

Some familiar dead faces will show up in this episode, namely Ethan, Goodwin and Mr. Friendly, which is proof enough that it will be another flashback to Juliet’s time on the island, pre-crash. In the present, it looks like Jack’s not done getting involved in love triangles, squares, pentagons, and whatever other shape you can think of, because Jack and Juliet’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) relationship is furthered in this episode.

Episode 4.7 “Ji Yeoh” - March 13 (Sun/Jin)

It seems that Jin (Daniel Dae Kim) and Sun (Yunjin Kim) not only made it off the island, but with their baby as well. This episode’s title is believed to be the name of their darling bundle of joy as the two adjust to family life.

Episode 4.8 TITLE UNKNOWN - March 20 (Michael)

That’s right, in less than two months, this mini-season of Lost will be over and we’ll have to wait another year for any more. However, the show does finales right, and this one looks to be no exception. For starters, Harold Perrineau isn’t the only returning cast member in this episode, as Cynthia Watros, the late Libby, will also show up. Fans will learn what happened after Michael left the island and where he ended up. It looks like Michael will be returning to New York City, though it appears his run-ins with car accidents are not over. And though not as reliable as most spoilers, one interested bystander claims to have spotted Michael fighting with none other than Mr. Friendly in an alley. Of course, this makes no sense in any way, time or space, but then again, Lost has defied our expectations before.
