The girl is no girl: She is a woman, at least she goes in the catalogue as one. The man is a handsome, well-dressed, fit, and wealthy; he is only thirty something, not eighty something. Once we are out of high school, Kids, age is no longer relevant. You know, we Americans pose as liberal, hip, and uninhibited free-thinkers, when in fact, most of us are hopelessly provincial and pathetically narrow-minded about even the most inconsequential nonsense, the age difference between consenting adults being a minor example. Actually, our revulsion with age difference is reactionary as society long ago accepted the older man/younger woman configuration as being not only acceptable, but preferable. Remember, the older man is stable, has made his fortune, is wise and mature, and less likely to go roving while the younger woman is still attractive, strong, sexually active, and able to bear burdens and children. Win Win.
