Dexter, “I killed my father.”

So yeah I was right. Dexter’s plan is to frame Doakes. I knew it, he couldn’t kill Doakes. He’s too obsessed with Harry’s code. Although in this episode we found out that Harry isn’t the person Dexter thought he was. He always placed Harry on a pedestal. Harry’s code this, Harry’s code that. Everything in his life is governed by the code. But now, he found out that Harry committed suicide after all. He didn’t just die of a heart attack, he induced it. Matthews said that Harry couldn’t deal with criminals getting away. But Dexter thought it’s because of him. After Harry saw Dexter butchering a person, he got overcome with so much guilt for teaching Dexter the code and tolerating his murderous tendencies that he couldn’t take it anymore so he killed himself.

Well now, it’s not just Harry who saw the monster in Dexter. A drug dealer was looking for Jimenez. Somehow he found the cabin where Jimenez live and where Dexter is hiding Doakes. So Dexter had no choice but to set a trap for the drug dealer and kill him. Kill him he did but in front of Doakes too…well at least behind a plastic cover. Doakes looked so traumatized that for a second you’ll forget that he is a war veteran. Throughout the season, Dexter’s humanity and conscience were played out. But this episode reminded us that he is a serial killer and not just some normal guy with “feelings”.

Meanwhile Rita and Dexter are now in good terms. They’ll probably get back together. That is if Dexter won’t go to prison. But the obsessive-attention craving-drug addict Lila stole the spotlight once again by overdosing on ruffies.

I’m very excited but at the same time sad for Dexter’s upcoming season finale. Two more episodes everyone. Chop chop! Get those predictions rolling!

I don’t think Dexter will get caught. Lila will die (I really hope so!). Doakes won’t go to prison, somehow Laguerta will clear his name. These are my predictions. Tell me yours!
