CSI Season 9 Episode 1 : For Warrick
This is what to expect on the first episode of CSI season 9. The season premiere will air on September 25, 2008.
The team grieves for their fallen friend, also Sara returns when she hears the news. Unknown to the team the killer, the Undersheriff, investigates the murder. Also Ecklie hires a new CSI Bryce Adams (Lauren Lee Smith).

i don’t think they can bring him back now because he’s been killed - he won’t survive the shots as one went right through his throat - i really am upset with CBS - i know he was doing drugs and all but they could’ve suspended him and pretended he went went on sick leave or on a sabbactical - first sara leaves now they’ve killed warrick - the show will never be the same again and will never be as good

I really do hope they bring him back, and i agree that it won’t be the same without sarah and warrick. because it was nice that vegas was the csi which had no one die. It was nice to have the familliar cast and to change it after 7 years i think would be a huge mistake. *BRING WARRICK BACK*

I’m sorry to say that there’s no hope for that since that post just said Warrick is dead. Although I’ve been hearing some news lately that producers are giving Gary Dourdan a second chance. I don’t know what they mean by that since they just killed off his character. We’ll just see next season I guess.

All the rumours that i’ve heard suggest that he doesn’t die, although they do say he’s leaving. Carol Mendelsohn has said that Gary Dourdan will appear in series 9, and “not just in flashbacks” - so there’s still a ray of hope!

i think that he could be parylzed or something, cos i heard hes meant to be coming back as a guest (not just in flashbacks) so you never know until you watch it i suppose.

I agree with kayla…without warrick this series wont be the same again. the reason I watched csi because of grissom,catherine and warrick. but I dont think they will bring back warrick…he being shot…but who knows…miracle might happen.

im from the philippines and im proud to say that ive been one of your avid fans csi las vegas… i bought dvd seasons 1 to 7 just to watch it completely and even if ive watched the episode i would still watch it in cable… i felt so bad when i get to watch the last episode wherein warrick was shot point blank…
hey, csi las vegas original cast is consist of warrick, grissom, catherine and nick. i think losing him will be a great loss. i heard warrick has a personal problem. so, why dont they give him another chance… dont get rid of the character… instead create a very nice scene where in we can still watch warrick. shall i say put him on a comatose… and if hes good to go bring back to life the man… CBS try to think about it warrick is been a part of csi and you cant just get rid of him just because of some problem… help the man ok!

Too bad, so sad. I don’t care for Warrick or Sara and am glad they are off the show. Grissom is what makes the show and now he too maybe leaving. That sucks. Rumored replacements won’t have the effect that Grisson did. Another one of the shows to scratch off the Tivo list as it seems to be going down the toilet. Might as well end it now on good terms rather than letting it die a terrible death.

warrick is the SOUL OF CSI LAS VEGAS: he’s the protegee of grissom, he’s nick’s bestfriend, he’s sarah’s big brother, he’s catherine’s love interest, and he’s greg’s mentor…. I KNOW he’s been shot and all.. but hey, anything SHOULD BE POSSIBLE!

I have been a loyal fan since the show started, so loyal as to watch the series while serving in Afghanistan, of course from DVD. And to have one of my favorite characters killed off is absolutly devistating. Sometimes when life gives you lemons you make lemonaid, Gary I wish you the best and hope you end up staying after all.

they shouldnt be gettin rid of the most important people on the show.
tho they can still bring warrick bak as in csi miami one of there key characters was shot in the head or throat and he didnt die.

hate to say it but I was soooooo happy when Sara got off the show, and I don’t care at all if she comes back or not… but when Warrick got shot I was like dude no… although I knew it was gonna happen from day one, Grrrr now I have a deep hate towards the sheriff >.

Wow… I wonder when people are going to realize that this is JUST a tv show, nothing more nothing less. It doesn’t matter if they killed off a character, stuff happens, people move on. Also Sara is coming back, so there’s no need to get your panties all in a bunch. Get over it and enjoy the show.

I know that in the premire that sara comes back again after she hears the news about warrick but after that eppisode they wont be seen as a group together anymore (including sara)
