The teenager informs House and team that she is an emancipated minor living on her own and supporting herself, and has ever since her parents passed away. Meanwhile, Foreman asks for House’s permission to work on a clinical trial and House rejects his proposal. In an effort to prove himself capable of working without House’s supervision, Foreman takes on his own pediatric case. Canned

How safe really are our favorite shows from cancellation? I find it really annoying when I’ve grown attached to a particular TV show and after 12 episodes or so it will just end up being cancelled. Like Jericho for instance. Well, TvByNumbers formulated a statistics table of which shows are more likely to stay or get cancelled. This might help us prepare ourselves for the inevitable.

I’m scared for Terminator. I love that show. I’m also getting attached to Privileged. Sigh. Let’s just wait and see how accurate these predictions are.

House Spoilers and Things

I kinda like Lucas, the Private Investigator. He and House make a pretty interesting team. It’s like they’re on the same wavelength. Although, I hope it won’t be a long term thing, I miss Wilson. Good thing Robert Sean Leonard, the actor playing Wilson, is still in the billing. Anyway, what do you guys think of the new P.I.? Love him or hate him? Comment!

Speaking of Wilson, he’ll be appearing again next week in episode 4 called Birthmark.  We’ll get to see how House and Wilson met.

HOUSE GETS BACK TO HIS ROOTS AND A PATIENT FALLS ILL SEARCHING FOR HER OWN ON “HOUSE” TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14, ON FOX

When House receives word that his father has passed away, he brushes off the news and dismisses the idea of going to the funeral. However, he is soon coerced into going despite his strongest protests. Back at Princeton-Plainsboro, the team encounters the case of a young woman adopted by American parents who collapsed while in China looking for her birth parents. With House en route to his father’s funeral, he must work with the team to diagnose the woman via cell phone while on the road. The team runs through possible diagnoses and various genetic disorders, but when House’s phone dies, the team must decipher what House was trying to tell them before the girl’s condition deteriorates. Meanwhile, the back story of how House and Wilson met for the first time is revealed in the “Birthmarks” episode of HOUSE airing Tuesday, Oct. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/ PT) on FOX.

In spoiler news, I hear that there will be a little romance going on with Foreman and Thirteen. They have even been dubbed as ‘Thoreman’ over at TV Guide.

Ausiello: Could I interest you in something on Thoreman? Never heard of that particular portmanteau? That’s about to change, since executive producer Katie Jacobs tells me that a major, potentially romantic story line involving Foreman and Thirteen will kick off in November when Olivia Wilde’s ailing alter ego agrees to participate in a clinical trial overseen by Omar Epps’ Foreman. As a result, the pair “are going to be spending a serious amount of time together,” reveals Jacobs. Thirteen’s leap of faith will follow a tumultuous few episodes in which she has a random hook-up with an unidentified lovergirl (see last week’s AA for more on that) and witnesses firsthand the horrors of Huntington’s via a patient played by Lori Petty (A League of Their Own). “I don’t want to see Thirteen come down with Huntington’s,” confesses Jacobs, “but I think it’s important for the audience to see what she’s up against in dealing with [the disease].” Thoughts on Thoreman — the moniker and the pairing? Scroll down to the comments!

House Spoiler : Thirteen’s Kiss

By now, we all know that Thirteen is gay … or was it bi, I’m not sure. So anyway, here is a spoiler for episode 5 about Thirteen kissing another woman. I could just imagine House’s and the rest of the team’s reactions. That would be hilarious. Can’t wait!

Ausiello: With all my attention focused on the big Huddy kiss in episode 6, Jacobs blindsided me with the news that there’s also a sensational smooch in episode 5 — this one between Thirteen and another woman! “Even before the House and Cuddy kiss, Thirteen is on a little bit of a spiral,” Jacobs teased. “She has Huntington’s. And when you don’t know how many years you have left to live, you might exhibit some reckless, risk-taking behavior. And she doesn’t express it through her work, but after hours, she’s leading quite a life.” Who’s the lucky gal that gets to mack on Olivia Wilde? Jacobs isn’t saying. “Thirteen’s sexual involvement with this woman is not really about this other woman,” she explains. “It’s about Thirteen’s reckless behavior. It’s not the first time she’s done it, and it won’t be the last time.”

House and Cuddy’s Kiss

Ausiello from TV Guide dishes about House and Cuddy’s relationship. At last! After all those sexual tension, they are finally going to lock lips for real. I don’t know how I feel about them as a couple though. I guess I’m used to House and Cuddy’s constant bickering and I can’t see them romantically. How about you guys? How do you feel about House and Cuddy being a couple?

Here is the piece of news from Ausiello:

Ausiello: They’re not getting killed off anytime soon. That’s good, right? Meanwhile, I’ve got great news for House-Cuddy ’shippers: Sources confirm to me exclusively that your favorite couple will finally lock lips in episode 6! And for real! Speaking of House, guess what’s on the cover of next week’s Entertainment Weekly (on sale Friday)? C’mon, have a guess. Nope, not Rules of Engagement. Nope, not According to Jim. Nope, not One Tree Hill. Nope, not the Smurfs. House! House is on the cover of the next EW! To celebrate, first Vicodin’s on me!

Latest on Scoop on the New Season of House

Here is the latest spoiler from E!Online about House’s new season.  I love the House/Wilson ’ship!  I’d hate to see them break up.  But good thing Kristin said it’s not permanent.  I hope so!

Cath: Hmmm…No House scoops lately? Come on, Kristin! We are starving for info!
Here is a warm nugget to sink your teeth into: Much to the chagrin of House/Wilson fans everywhere, it appears as though the show’s cornerstone coupling is breaking up when House returns Sept. 16. Said Hugh Laurie: “Wilson comes to a bigger, broader realization that House is possibly a destructive force in his life; House isn’t good for him, and as a result of that realization, Wilson decides to up sticks and leave.” Booo! (Still, I’m highly doubtful this breakup is permanent. And by highly doubtful I mean, I have it on good authority.)

Thomas in Rhode Island: Hey, Kristin! What’s the deal with the new guy on House? I am particularly intrigued by the new private investigator played by Michael Weston.
So is Hugh. He said of Michael’s character: “House is so needy, so desperate, so curious, so unable to leave well [enough] alone that he actually takes the, frankly, unusual step of hiring a private investigator to see how Wilson is faring on his own. Who he’s seeing, who he’s with, is he happy? Is he not happy? It’s an obsessive and frankly narcotic act, but it’s a step he takes.”

House : Thirteen Getting Fired?

There’s this rumor going around that Remy Hadley a.k.a Thirteen, played by actress Olivia Wilde, will get fired in season 5 episode 5.  A journalist from an Italian magazine was interviewing Hugh Laurie on the set caught a glimpse of a scene where House was firing Thirteen.

I don’t really care for Thirteen.  It doesn’t really bother me if she gets fired or not.  I just want the original team back.   They were the best.  I don’t know why they broke it up in the first place.  I mean yeah, the survivor thing was pretty entertaining but when it was over the new team weren’t that interesting anymore.

How about you guys?  What do you think?  Would it bother you if the rumor was true?
