Here are clips of Gossip Girl episode 17.
CW confirmed that there will be 24 episodes for Gossip Girl season 2. Here is the article from E!Online.
So…yay! Inside sources confirm to me that Gossip Girl will indeed be having an extralong season next year (to make up for the episodes we missed this year due to the strike).
Though nothing will be made official until next week when the CW announces its schedule in New York City, I’m told the show has been confirmed for a 24-episode season two.
And even better? Everyone we know and love will be back, with the expected full-time addition of Michelle Trachtenberg, for those double-dozen eps. (According to Leighton Meester, the cast calls her character “Geor-gina” in the way that rhymes with a female body part, since she’s such a See You Next Tuesday. Hee!)
I just hung out with Leighton on the set of Entourage (she’s there shooting a guest stint for the HBO comedy’s upcoming season), and she told me they’re planning to shoot Gossip Girl in the Hamptons at the beginning of season two. “‘Cause you gotta go to the Hamptons, right?” she said with a giggle. “And, by the way, we aren’t shooting in Staten Island like they did on Sex and the City. We’re shooting in the real Hamptons.” Touché, Carrie & Co.!
Here are some Gossip Girl episode 16 sneak peeks and video clips.
Here are some juicy Gossip Girl spoilers brought to us SpoilerTV.
Georgina’s parents are tired of her antics and tell her that things won’t be alright if she doesn’t get her act together. Blair is there for support… or is she? The Sparks want to send their daughter to a boot camp for troubled girls. At the wedding, Bart, Lily, Chuck and Eric are all smiles. Things between Dan and Serena aren’t that peachy. Rufus surprises Lily in the bridal chamber.
I was right after all. As I’ve suspected when the first gay gossip came out, I suspected Eric. With him being the rumored Gossip Girl and all. Here is the E!Online article confirming it is Eric.
Holy Gossip!
Sources confirm that the character with the queer eye is none other than little Eric Van der Woodsen, little bro to the big “S.”
Now, that might not be all that shocking, given that he’s one of the only characters on the show who hasn’t yet had a steamy hookup, but brace yourselves, GG fans, for it is coming!
Turns out, it’s the way in which Eric is outed that is the true jaw-dropper. Insiders tell me that he’ll be caught making out with Jenny Humphrey…’s new boyfriend!
How’s that for another kick in the gut to the girl who just can’t seem to catch a break?! She’s gonna need some serious retail therapy after that fiasco. (So Upper East ladies, hide your couture gowns!)
Now, with all this gay Gossip talk, it’s worth pointing out that in the original Gossip Girl series, it was actually Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), who questioned his sexuality. However, sources tell me that there are currently no plans for any same-sex action for Dan. Not surprising, since he is one-half of the show’s cornerstone coupling.
Penn told us this back in October: “I think [Dan] is straight-up gay in the books. But I don’t think network TV really has the balls to make one of its [teenage] series regulars gay. Let’s say the show builds up to become a big hit, then I think they’d maybe explore it in year three or four.”
Note to Penn: Turns out, the CW does have cajones!
Are these behind the scenes kiss or an actual scene kiss? I don’t know yet. I’ll report back when I do, of course. But, what do you think?
