Eli Stone Season 1 Episode 7 : Heal The Pain

Here is an Eli Stone press release from ABC.

A FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF ELI’S PROBLEMS, ON ABC’S “ELI STONE”

“Heal the Pain” - THURSDAY, MARCH 13 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET), on ABC’s “Eli Stone,” Eli adjusts to his new position at the law firm without an office, a secretary or the ability to try cases himself — all in the same week that he’s being chased by a fire-breathing dragon. The dragon fly-bys prompt him to take the case of a 15-year-old boy whose mother was killed by the medical malpractice of a DR. AGON. Unfortunately, Agon used to work at the same hospital where Eli’s brother, Nathan, is employed — the hospital that Eli must sue. Making matters even worse is the fact that Jordan assigns Maggie as lead counsel and Eli has to follow her instructions. The roll-reversal, ironically, brings them closer together — a fact not lost on Taylor, who tries to reconcile with Eli through a surprisingly live performance by none other than… special guest star George Michael.

“Eli Stone” stars Jonny Lee Miller as Eli Stone, Victor Garber as Jordan Wethersby, Natasha Henstridge as Taylor Wethersby, Laura Benanti as Beth, Loretta Devine as Patti, Sam Jaeger as Matt Dowd, James Saito as Dr. Chen, Matt Letscher as Nathan Stone and Julie Gonzalo as Maggie Dekker.

Guest stars include George Michael as himself, Tom Amendes as Martin Posner, Jason George as Keith Bennett, Patrick Breen as Paul Sweren, Steve Harris as Jayson Turk, Allen Lulu as Frank, Kenny Baumann as Peter Johnson, Barbara Tarbuck as Betty Johnson, Tom Lenk as WPK assistant, Greg Christopher Smith as Ball Player #1, Cleo King as Deborah Brehe, Jodi Long as Judge Phelps, Bruce French as Terrence Snyder, Robert Noble as Judge Teufel, Jean Louisa Kelly as Julie Lazer, Ron Butler as Jury Foreman and Kevin Kilner as Dr. Agon.

“Heal the Pain” was written by Alex Taub and Moira Walley-Beckett and directed by Sandy Smolan.

Eli Stone Season 1 Episode 5 : One More Try Promo Photos

Here is a teaser for episode 5 of Eli Stone:

ELI STONE - “One More Try” - On ABC’s “Eli Stone,” THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET), the “new Eli” gets another chance to make right a case the “old Eli” won through questionable tactics on behalf a large motor vehicle manufacturer. Patti brings to light Martin Posner’s surprising culpability in the suit — though not nearly as surprising as how she discovered it. Meanwhile Jordan introduces two new associates who’ve joined W.P.K. - his daughter and Eli’s ex-fiancŽe, Taylor, and Keith Bennett, whose self-representation in a trial against the firm made a lasting impression on Jordan. And if Taylor’s presence in the office weren’t enough for Eli to deal with, a series of untimely visions send him to Hawaii and lead to very odd behavior in court, threatening his case. Eli Stone

The Verdict

I kinda like Eli Stone, so far. Just saw the pilot. It didn’t suck. It’s not that great either. Maybe I should wait for the second episode to pass judgment. But so far, I think it’s one of those shows you watch when nothing is on.

The Gist

Eli Stone is a lawyer that grew a conscience after seeing hallucinations.  Somehow the hallucinations links his past, present and future.  The Chinese guy he met says he’s a prophet, his brother a doctor says its an aneurysm.  Whatever it is, these hallucinations changed his life.
