Allison Mack Leaving Smallville?

Word have been going around that Allison Mack who plays Chloe in Smallville won’t be coming back for season 8.  I agree with what TV Guide said, this is probably just a pricing negotiation on Allison’s camp.  Smart move.  With Lex and Lana gone, Chloe will be the strongest character next to Clark.  Producers can’t afford to lose her too in my opinion.  I’m predicting that season 8 will be the last season for Smallville.

Here is the article from TV Guide.

It looks like Smallville’s about to take another, potentially lethal, hit.

Just a week after it was announced that Michael Rosenbaum would not be returning full time as Lex next season, sources confirm to me exclusively that Allison Mack, arguably Smallville’s most popular heroine, may be the next to go.

This marks quite a turnaround from a few months ago, when I deemed Mack a lock to come back next season. And I wasn’t the only one. Although a deal wasn’t signed at the time, Smallville insiders tell me that all indications were that the actress was on board for Season 8.

But then Rosenbaum terndered his resignation and everything fell apart.

“Allison’s camp used Michael leaving as leverage in the negotiations with [Warner Bros.],” says one Smallville source, who adds that Kristin Kreuk’s decision to only return for a handful of episodes as Lana only strengthened Mack’s bargaining position. “They need Chloe now more than ever — and Allison’s people know it.” (Mack’s reps declined to comment for this story.)

But will the studio suits budge? In this climate, with ratings down by double digits and belt-tightening going on everywhere, no one is optimistic. However, everyone pretty much agrees about one thing: Smallville can’t afford to lose Mack right now. “If Allison leaves, they’ve essentially got Lois and Clark left,” notes one insider. “And that show’s been done before.”

So, what do you think? Should Warner Bros. man up and give Mack what she’s probably been worth all along? Or are you OK with Smallville turning into Lois & Clark: The Early Years? Sound off below!

Gossip Girl Season 2

CW confirmed that there will be 24 episodes for Gossip Girl season 2. Here is the article from E!Online.

So…yay! Inside sources confirm to me that Gossip Girl will indeed be having an extralong season next year (to make up for the episodes we missed this year due to the strike).

Though nothing will be made official until next week when the CW announces its schedule in New York City, I’m told the show has been confirmed for a 24-episode season two.

And even better? Everyone we know and love will be back, with the expected full-time addition of Michelle Trachtenberg, for those double-dozen eps. (According to Leighton Meester, the cast calls her character “Geor-gina” in the way that rhymes with a female body part, since she’s such a See You Next Tuesday. Hee!)

I just hung out with Leighton on the set of Entourage (she’s there shooting a guest stint for the HBO comedy’s upcoming season), and she told me they’re planning to shoot Gossip Girl in the Hamptons at the beginning of season two. “‘Cause you gotta go to the Hamptons, right?” she said with a giggle. “And, by the way, we aren’t shooting in Staten Island like they did on Sex and the City. We’re shooting in the real Hamptons.” Touché, Carrie & Co.!

Lindsay Lohan on Ugly Betty Season Finale Pictures

So we all know that Lindsay Lohan will be appearing in the season finale of Ugly Betty. It had been reported that Ugly Betty dropped ratings after the long break. Following the footsteps of How I Met Your Mother and I’m assuming out of desperation they booked Lindsay. Ugly Betty producers must have been alarmed by the rating drop, because really who would want an alcoholic, unstable druggie on the set…oops How I Met Your Mother booked Britney. I spoke too soon.

Anyway, here are some screencaps of Lindsay in Ugly Betty season 2 episode 18 : Jump.

The Office Season 4 Episode 14 : Goodbye Toby

The Office is super hilarious! The funniest sitcom I have ever watched. My all time favorite episode was season 4 episode 1 : Fun Run. There are just so many priceless scenes in that episode. One that I’ll never forget was the scene where Michael creeped up behind Toby and pulled down his shorts. I was literally rolling on the floor laughing!

Anyway, I’ll miss Toby. :( Even though he’s a bit weird and pervy-like. In the season finale titled Goodbye Toby, he will be leaving Dunder Mifflin. Here is the episode details from Spoiler TV.

In the Season 4 finale, Toby prepares to bid adieu to Dunder Mifflin (much to Michael’s utmost delight), so the desk jockeys throw a party in his honor. Meanwhile, Toby’s replacement (Amy Ryan) arrives, only to become the victim of hazing.
